Overview #
All Pinterest Pro image tools are available under Sharing → Pinterest Pro Tools. These tools include expert settings for the image Pin button and advanced options for disabling image sharing on Pinterest.
Tools for images when using Pinterest image hover Pins #
These are advanced options, so use them with caution, as they may impact Pinterest sharing. The options will only work if you are using the Pinterest Pro image hover button.
- Force Sharing of Responsive Thumbnail Images: This option scans your theme for responsive thumbnail images, detects the largest size, and uses it for sharing on Pinterest.
- Make All Images Pin the Custom Image Set on Post: This option allows you to set a custom image to be pinned for all images in the post. It will only work if your website is not using rich pins.
- Fill Pin ID from Post Customizations on All Images: This option assigns a specific Pin ID to all images available for sharing. No matter where visitors click, the Pin will always be the one you’ve selected.
Disable the Pin of selected images #
This function works for both the Pinterest share button and the Pinterest Pro image hover button.
- Don’t Pin Images with Path: Exclude images by specifying a custom CSS path. For example:
.header .logo. - Min Image Size: Set a minimum width and/or height for images. Any images that do not meet the specified size will be excluded.
- Exclude Images by Unique Part of the URL: Exclude images by entering a specific part of the URL or image name. For example:
logo.png. Enter one record per line.
