To continue receiving automatic updates, existing CodeCanyon users must migrate their license—this process is free and ensures you retain lifetime updates and support under a new Freemius license. Even if you choose not to migrate, you will not lose support and can still manually update the plugin by downloading the latest version from your CodeCanyon profile.

Step-by-Step Migration Instructions #

1. Go to the Migration Page #

Visit the migration page:

2. Enter Your License Details #

Fill out the migration form with:

• Email Address – If you already have a Freemius account, use this email to avoid creating a duplicate account.
• CodeCanyon License Key – Your existing license key for Easy Social Share Buttons.

3. Start the Migration #

Click “Migrate License”. The system will verify your CodeCanyon license and generate your new Freemius license.

After a successful migration, you will receive an email with:

• Your Freemius account (if you didn’t have one previously)
• A download link for the Freemius version of the plugin
• Your new Freemius lifetime license key

4. Install the Freemius Version of the Plugin #

You have two options to install the Freemius version:

Option 2: Deactivate and delete old version first
