Overview #

The Pinterest Pro Follow Bar is an advanced feature within the Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress plugin designed to promote your Pinterest account directly on your website. This tool creates a customizable, eye-catching bar that encourages visitors to follow your Pinterest profile. It can be attached to post content, integrated with WooCommerce products, or displayed as a floating button for persistent visibility.

Key benefits:

  • Increases Pinterest followers by embedding a “Follow @username on Pinterest” call-to-action.
  • Supports automation for seamless integration with blog posts and e-commerce pages.
  • Offers styling options for brand consistency, including colors, templates, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Allows exclusions for specific pages to avoid clutter.

Step 1: Enabling the Pinterest Pro Follow Bar #

  2. Toggle the feature ON (blue “Yes” button at the top of the page).

Every change you make (template selection, colors, hover effects) instantly updates the preview bar at the bottom of the settings screen.

Custom Template Color Controls
When you select Custom from the Template dropdown (or choose a different template for the floating button), the plugin unlocks full manual color controls. You can independently set the Background color, Text color, Hover background color, and Hover text color using the color pickers. Changes appear instantly in the live preview below, and clicking the Update button refreshes the preview if needed. This gives you complete freedom to match the follow bar perfectly to your brand colors, even when using one of the preset templates as a starting point.
