Control Social Networks’ Visibility Across Desktop and Mobile Devices #
If you don’t need to show different social networks on different devices (like desktop vs. mobile), you can skip this section.
However, if you want certain networks to appear only on specific devices, you can use the device visibility feature.
To make this work, make sure that all the networks you plan to use—on any device—are included in either the Global Network List or the Position Network List. This ensures they are available to be assigned visibility rules based on device type.
This feature gives you more control over the user experience by tailoring the social sharing options for each type of device.

How to Manage Social Network Visibility by Device (Desktop/Mobile) #
Step 1: Open Global Networks Settings #
- In the WordPress dashboard, navigate to:
Easy Social Share Buttons → Global Networks
Step 2: Enable Device Visibility Control #
- Scroll down to find the option:
Control social networks’ visibility across desktop and mobile devices - Click the “Manage” button on the right.
- Toggle the feature ON (if it’s not already running).
Step 3: Set Visibility per Network #
- You’ll now see a list of the currently active social networks.
- For each network, you’ll have visibility options like:
- Show on All Devices – do not activate an option
- Show on Desktop Only – enable the hidden on mobile
- Show on Mobile Only – enable the hidden on desktop option
- Click the icon or dropdown to choose the desired visibility setting for each network.
Step 4: Save Your Changes #
- Once you’ve configured the visibility for each network, click Save Settings (top-right corner).
