What is the dashboard widget?
Based on the version of the plugin you can see different types of widgets. Since version 8.7 the widget is called Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress. Prior to that version, the name is AppsCreo Overview. No matter the version you see the widget has the same purpose – showing the latest news, promotions, guides, or other useful materials related to the plugin. It is also offering an option to subscribe to our newsletter and a few quick links.
How to deactivate it?
In case you don’t want to see it or you notice a slowdown in the main WordPress admin screen caused by the widget go to Advanced -> Administrative and set to Yes the marked option.
